Backcountry Horsemen of California

Mission Statement:

• Perpetuate the common sense use and enjoyment of horses in 
  America's road less back country.
• Assist the various government agencies in their management and 
  maintenance of resources.
• Educate, encourage and solicit active participation in the wise and 
  sustaining use of the back country by horsemen and the public.
• Work to ensure that public lands remain open to recreational stock use.
